Announcement from Township Supervisors to Ligonier Township Residents Regarding Tax Collection

Ligonier Township Supervisors at a Special Meeting on September 4th accepted the resignation of Deputy Tax Collector Haidee Street and tabled the resignation letter of Sue Kinsey.  Also, the deputy tax collector was assigned to “Keystone Collections” of Irwin for Ligonier Township and the Ligonier Valley School District.  A three year contract was signed effective immediately.  All electronic data for tax statements mailed this year should be provided to Keystone Collections.   A letter will be sent to all tax paying accounts and notice posted at the municipal complex on how and where to submit current tax notices and funds. The tax office at One Municipal Park drive will be locked and secured until an audit of the records is completed by Westmoreland County.  All inquiries should be sent to Keystone Collections at (866) 539-1100 OR (724) 978-0300 and Ligonier Township Manager: Terry Carcella or Township Solicitor Michael Korns.
