Title I
Title I, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA) is the largest federal education program for elementary and secondary schools. In the Ligonier Valley School District, funds are used to provide supplementary educational services to the students at Laurel Valley Elementary School. The Schoolwide Program at Laurel Valley Elementary supports students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade in reading and mathematics. Three reading specialists and three instructional aides support the overall instructional program and provide tutoring to students who demonstrate the need in reading and/or math.
