LVSD Use of Facilities

GUIDELINES FOR USE OF FACILITIES

  • The Ligonier Valley School District reserves the right to cancel any use of school district facilities if there is a conflict with a request for a school activity.  Student activities will receive preferences for use of facilities
  • The LVSD is not responsible for injury to participatns or lien claims arising from this activity
  • All non-school sponsored groups will make a $ 100 deposit priot to using the building.  If costs occur to the district or if property is damaged, the amount will be deducted from the deposit
  • If two or more violations of these guildines occur, district personnel will be required to be at all future activities of that group at the group's expense
  • The use of facility will be denied if proper care, superivsion, and security are not exhibited
  • The group is required to maintain builiding security during all activities and to secure the building at the conclusion of the activity
  • All outside groups/organizations using LVSD facilities must provide a Certificiate of Liability Insurance and attach the Certificate to this application prior to using the facility.  General Liability must be equal to at least $ 1,000,000 each occurrence and damage to rented premises (each occurrence equal to $ 100,000
